My Christmas Present to my Husband

This was one of my Christmas gifts to Rick this year. I had been wanting to purchase vinyl word art for our home, but when I saw the price, I decided against it. However, after researching online, I was able to make this word art for about $1, and I think it turned out fine--even if I say so myself! If you are interested in how to do it, visit this link that I made. If you try it, send me a photo. I'd would love to see your work!

Thanks for leaving your comment. You do color in the contact paper after you trace the lettering on to the contact paper. If you choose to cut around the letters, you could also color them after cutting it out, I guess. I did update the article on the website, so you may want to read it again. Let me know if you find a better way!

Hi Carrie, Your wall looks nice. However I have a machine that will do this for you. Just have to buy the contact paper. I have over 30 cartridges of fonts and designs to choose from. If you ever need me to cut anything for you just let me know. Most scrapbookers have these wonderful machines. You wont have to use scissors ever again.. lol
